Unexpected upgrade for weary hikers
After a long day hiking the Queen Charlotte Track, we were kinda surprised by an upgrade to a spacious two-bedroom cabin with a kitchen. The ocean views and the ambiance were serene, providing the perfect escape.
The lodge itself felt a bit dated, with some areas that needed a refresh.

The location is remote. Moreover, it is very close to a beautiful bay in the gorgeous Marlborough Sounds and an ideal overnight stop when walking theQueen Charlotte track, by walking the first leg of the Queen Charlotte Track, and hiking & dinner.

Just an ideal choice for a cursory stop in Endeavour Inlet with good price-quality ratio. The kettle and drinks provided in the small hiker cabin were a nice touch after a long day. Pack some extra snacks as there's limited food options on-site.

We recently stayed for 2 nights and loved it! The hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking, and we enjoyed our beautiful sea view suite. The only downside was that the restaurant lacked vegetarian options.

The suite offered a fine sea view, made waking up each morning a delight. Enjoying meals in the cozy dining area with a nice fireplace added warmth to our experience, while the superb quality of the food, including fantastic yogurt, was a highlight. The pricing at the restaurant leaned toward the expensive side, and a slightly limited selection of vegetarian options was noticeable. Connectivity felt lacking with no mobile reception and only Wi-Fi available in specific areas, which may not suit every guest, especially during rainy weather.
